Sales Operations Director

Our client in the San Carlos, CA area is hiring a full-time Sales Operations Director! This person will be responsible for managing their sales & services automation and reporting, production scheduling and fulfillment, and customer data strategy. They are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator with advanced technical and analytical skills. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring and managing price lists & customer data in Salesforce.com
  • Overseeing necessary software/systems solutions
  • Supervising and interpreting sales performance through forecasting, sales reports, etc. and offering insights/recommendations
  • Ensuring successful shipment of orders
  • Configuring work order management systems, shipping management solutions, and materials/inventory tracking systems
  • Integrating CRM and other solutions
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and providing necessary data and reporting to improve efficiency
  • 7-10 years of experience in a business analyst/IT/project management role
  • Strong project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations and quality process improvement projects
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to select the most appropriate course of action
  • Experience with Salesforce administration/configuration
  • Familiar with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud on the Salesforce platform
  • Experience with BI reporting tools (SQL, Tableau) is a nice-to-have
  • Full-time, on-site position in San Carlos, CA
