Our client is looking for a full-time, experienced Sales Operations Manager who will oversee and manage the daily performance of the Account Management team, in addition to leading company-wide sales and growth processes. This will include the sales pipeline, growth funnel, performance metrics, trends, and forecasting. You'll support margin and sales growth through close customer relationships and the identification of new product or application opportunities, cost savings projects, or solutions that address customer issues. This will be a key role in communicating and driving growth opportunities and customer issues to the right people within the organization!

What you'll be doing - 

  • Effectively manage 6 direct reports on this team
  • Identify sales opportunities for both existing customers as well as new customers and develop a plan to win those customers
  • Define, track, analyze, and report on sales pipeline and performance against targets and metrics
  • Enhance key performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that enable management to track, measure, and drive performance improvement including sales force productivity
  • Deliver sales forecasting, tracking and building insights across all product lines
  • Opportunity analysis - tracking key deals against closure plans, providing trends and insight into successes and challenges
  • Assist with budget management
  • Resolve ad-hoc customer requests or complaints
  • Develop and implement promotional events and interact with external dealers to increase sales volume
  • Identify opportunities and leverage continuous improvement tools to support business growth and productivity targets

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education
    • 3-5 years of experience in a sales operations management role in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service... e.g. customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Advanced knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management principles, and administration combined with sound knowledge of sales force automation / CRM tools
  • Strong understanding of sales and internal business processes and market trends, preferably with experience working with global sales team
  • CRM and ERP Implementation knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed
  • Experience leading a commercial S&OP process
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving positive results against stated goals
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, superior data analysis and modeling skills
  • Experience with BI Platforms is a plus
