As this organization’s onsite Salesforce Administrator you will take ownership of their internal Salesforce org for their national office. On top of day to day config, support and maintenance, you will lead a number of projects including streamlining data management, creating and improving existing workflows/processes, providing stakeholders with effective and insightful dashboards and analytics, and more.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Salesforce administration, configuration, requirements and issues management, data protection and security (they want their organization to be totally data-driven!)
  • Workflow processes optimization and data collection and organization to improve business porcesses
  • Stay updated on SFDC updates, releases, and trends as it applies to the nonprofit world
  • Provide strategic level recommendations and implementation plans for the adoption of new apps, tools and releases on the SF platform
  • Support Salesforce integrations of third party applications (for example Zapier, FormAssembly, fundraising and engagement tools, etc.)
  • Provide training and documentation for users, including teaching them how to run their own reports and dashboards
  • Increase and improve user adoption of Salesforce by building trust and mentoring users, encouraging them to use SF for all business and data analytics needs!
  • Develop system and process documentation (SOPs)
  • Act as backup secondary Salesforce Administrator for the external Affiliates SF systems

Job Requirements

  • Expertise in all aspects of Salesforce administration, configuration, and database analysis
  • Minimum 3 years as a SF Admin
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • Must have NPSP experience and familiarity with commonly used nonprofit sales and marketing tools
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce API and third-party integrations (Zapier, FormAssembly are pluses)
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Experience and aptitude for making strategic level recommendations and guiding stakeholders through the business case analysis
  • Understanding of Salesforce best practices
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MSFT Office 365 applications
  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • Full-time, salaried position with benefits
  • Preference is onsite but will provide some remote flexibility if needed
